Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening (bleaching) is a way to lighten teeth without bonding material to the teeth, or removing any sound tooth structure. In this respect, it's one of the most conservative cosmetic procedures we have. Our office uses a combination of in-office, at home whitening, and daily "touch-ups" to achieve visible and lasting results.

The in-office or "one hour" whitening uses the unique Whiter Image whitening system. The procedure consists of three, twenty minute power bleaching sessions that will give your teeth the initial whitening boost you're looking for. This system does not use a "whitening light." Independent clinical studies have shown that the light used by systems like ZOOM! does not increase the effectiveness of whitening materials.

After this initial "jumpstart" we offer take home trays, custom fit to your teeth, that will allow you to continue the whitening at home! Using Whiter Image's unique whitening system each patient is given a full take home kit, including 4 syringes of the whitening gel. The system is designed to be low sensitivity without sacrificing results. We recommend using the take home trays for 7-14 days after your initial in-office treatment to see the best results.

As a bonus, when you complete the take home whitening treatment you are eligible for our "whitening for life" program. When you come to our office for you regular, scheduled 6 month check-up and cleaning, we'll give you more whitening gel for your take-home trays, for FREE!

Finally, we offer two very unique products for daily maintenance of your new, bright, smile. The Whiter Image Whitening Pen and the Chic-Flic are simple and effective methods to keep up your white smile even when you have dark staining drinks like coffee. Simply paint the gel on your teeth and it will immediately start to remove those stains.

Each case is different and requires a consultation before any treatment can begin. Some staining may be too extensive to handle with whitening alone, and some patients experience increased sensitivity during treatment. Only a thorough examination can determine your individual needs and realistic whitening goals.
